liberating minds, liberating healthcare

The title comes from a paraphrase of Angela Davis – We have to talk about liberating minds as well as liberating society – and captures some of the big, incredible, activist medicalapartheidenergy that characterized our time together for the Activism and the Art of Nursing think tank. I still need more time to process, digest, and mull, but something more will be coming soon. Till then, pick you up a copy of Medical Apartheid and join us August 9th at 3 pm for a twitter chat book group. Use #HJBG and #HealthJusticeBookGroup to follow along. You can follow me (Jess) at @radicalnurses and V at @radical_nurses. While I’m here extolling the virutes of social media, be sure to rally your radical nurse comrades and head on over to the Future of Nursing twitter chat tomorrow. Details here.

In peace and power,

Jess
